Yes I know it sounds weird, but it's true. As you all know, we took a vacation to the Florida Keys last spring and I fell in love. I have through about it every day since I came back home. I can't help but wonder if that is indeed where I am supposed to be. The people, the atmosphere, the attitudes, the photo opportunities....all more than I could have ever imagined or ever hoped for! So my question is this; Is it really possible to be "homesick" for a place you have never lived? Or did I just have such a great time that I want to relive it every single day? I do know this much...It was the only time in my adult life that I haven't been stressed about anything.
I will leave you with that thought, and until next time...Peace and Love to you all!
Ya know, Kelly, from as far back as I can remember I knew I belonged somewhere near the sea...this may have seemed odd to many as I was born & raised in Ohio. Finally made it to salt water in my 30's and felt a great peace. Then many moons later, moved here and found my paradise :-) Island living isn't for everyone, but it's certainly for me! So, yes, I believe one can be "homesick" for a place they've never lived...never having lived there doesn't mean your soul hasn't...Just my perspective :-)
